Dutchess County resident Diamond J. Ince, age 29, of the city of Poughkeepsie, was arrested on Wednesday, May 29, for the Sunday, May 12 incident by members of the Poughkeepsie Police, the Dutchess County Drug Task Force and the New York State Police.

Israeli Flag Defaced At Monsey Service Center
For the second time in two weeks, an Israeli flag has been the target of vandals at a Hudson Valley service station.
The incident occurred in Rockland County early Friday, May 24, at the Monsey Service Center on Main Street in Monsey.
According to Lauren Pepper, the manager of the center and daughter of the owner, Joe Kurek, another flag was stolen on Friday, May 17.
They quickly replaced the stolen flag with a new one that was defaced sometime in the overnight hours of Thursday, May 23, into Friday, May 24, said Lt. Chris Franklin of the Ramapo Police.

Alleged Spring Valley Burglar, Nabbed Again For 4 Crimes
A Hudson Valley man who was charged earlier this month for alleged burglary and was released on an appearance ticket has been arrested again, this time for four new burglaries.
Rockland County resident Dairin Aguirre, age 21, of Spring Valley, was charged with the new crimes on Monday, May 20.
According to Det. Matthew Galli of the Spring Valley Police, Aguirre, was arrested on Thursday, May 9, for allegedly breaking into a business at 230 West Route 59 in Spring Valley. He was released on an appearance ticket.

Man, 71, Killed In Mountain Bike Accident At State Park In Rockland County
A 71-year-old man was killed in a mountain bike accident at a state park in the Hudson Valley.
The incident occurred in Rockland County around 3:15 p.m., Wednesday, May 22, at Tallman Mountain State Park in Orangetown.
According to Trooper Steven Nevel with the New York State Police, a preliminary investigation revealed that Alido M. Pavan, of Tenafly, New Jersey, was riding his mountain bike at Tallman State Park when he lost control of his bike, causing him to hit the ground striking his head.
